I. Love. Men.

The end of the year (or world, depending on who you ask) is upon us and I need to do one last blog to end 2012 the right way. Paragraphs usually accompany my blogs but I've decided to spare you all with words and to get straight to the point: sexy actors! What started out as an open love letter to some of my favorite British thespians has now merged into an ode to all foreign men in the acting industry. I'm going to begin with the Englishmen, who were the original inspiration for this blog. I am obsessed with Sir Ian McKellan and I know that he'd approve of the following bunch, with whom represent his home country. Take a look for yourself and keep in mind that the ranking is chosen by random:
1. Joseph Morgan
2. Aaron Johnson
3. Idris Elba
4. Sam Claflin
5. Richard Armitage
6. Tom Hiddleston

Now let's move on to the Irishmen, whom I just can't get enough of!
1. Colin Farrell
2. Cillian Murphy
3. Liam Neeson
Next on our list is the men from the Great White North, better known as Canadians.
1. Stephen and Robbie Amell
2. Taylor Kitsch
3. Ryan Reynolds

4. Scott Speedman
 5. Ryan Gosling
My next group of actors all hail from Australia, the land with the most masculine men.
1. Hugh Jackman
2. Chris and Liam Hemsworth
3. Joel Edgerton
With my family being from Ponce, Puerto Rico, there's no men I love like Latin men. So here's my caballeros favoritos:
1. Benicio del Toro- Puerto Rico
2. Diego Boneta- Mexico
3. Rodrigo Santoro- Brasil
4. Álex González- Spain
The following men are from all over the world. Not only are they handsome but they also have talent to back them up.
1. Daniel Gillies- New Zealand
2. Gaspard Ulliel- France
3. Luke Evans- Wales
4. Michael Fassbender- Germany
5. Gerard Butler- Scotland
And even though this blog was intended for foreigners, I wouldn't be me if I didn't show some love to my own. So here's to 10 American men who have it going on.
1. Shane West- Louisiana
2. Joe Manganiello- Pennsylvania
3. Ian Somerhalder- Louisiana
4. Bradley Cooper- Pennsylvania
5. Joseph Gordon-Levitt- California
6. Michael Ealy- Maryland
7. Matt Bomer- Texas
8. Garrett Hedlund- Minnesota
9. James Franco- California
10. Zac Efron- California
That's my blog and the men that I'm currently "in lust" with. If I'm missing someone, leave me a message in the comments. I'll be sure to add them in. Thanks for checking out the 2012 I. Love. Men blog. Hope you enjoy the eye candy!

Dear Jeff Davis (Part 2)

Dear Jeff Davis,

We need answers (again!). I've rounded up the most asked questions from your "fangs" and have decided to present them to you (once again) blog-style. Some of these may be repeats but you can understand the repitition.

1. What role does the counselor play in the story?
She kind of showed up and was never explained thoroughly. What's her deal? And what's her connection to the vet?

2. What do the pills that Gerard take do for him exactly?
I'm not sure if I am the only one who keeps noticing these pills but what exactly are they doing for Gerard? Are they keeping him immune from something? Are they just keeping him alive? What are their purpose? Will it be revealed?

3. Will one of the main 6 characters die this season?
The cast keeps referring to someone dying during the finale. Will it be one of the main characters?

4. If Derek is still the Alpha, why did his eyes change when Peter was revived?
This is one of the thoughts that was slightly highlighted but never fully explained. We know that Derek is still the Alpha but when Peter was revived the red left his eyes. What was that about?

5. Should Derek trust his uncle or follow the vet's advice?
His uncle is making a lot of sense and it seems like maybe he has the right intentions. But we all know that he can't be trusted to the full extent so will Derek know how to separate his feelings aside from his common sense? And also, the vet mentioned that there will be consequences for what Peter did so will we see that in the finale?

6. Is Lydia still in the dark about what's going on?
Lydia is by far the most confusing character on the show. We've seen that she knows about Peter but what about everyone else? She has relationships with all these characters yet is she the slightest aware of anything that's going on?

7. Will Jackson ever actually become a werewolf?
I'm asking this question unsure of Jackson's current state. I should be asking if he's alive but until then, will Jackson ever get the chance to become a werewolf? I mean, that was what he always wanted. Will his dream ever come true?

8. Is Allison gone for good?
I'm holding out hope for Allison. Am I stupid for doing so? Is Allison going to be the bad-ass forever? Or is there hope for her to return to the old Allison that we all know and fell in love with?

9. Will Chris figure out that his father has alterior motives? Gerard is evil, there's no doubt about it. Chris has to notice that his father is not just vengeful but that he's pure wicked. There is no way he can not see that he has a dark side. Will he ever see his father for what he really is and find out all the wrong that he has committed?

10. Will Stiles ever be more than just the sidekick (or as he says "The Abominable Snowman")? I love Stiles, I really do. To me he is the equivalent of what Shawn Hunter was for me in my formidable years. With that being said, will Stiles ever step up from being the sidekick to possibly being the hero?

11. Have Romeo and Juliet met their demise? Will we be finally closing the book of Scott and Allison or will there be a "To Be Continued" to follow this finale?

AND FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, SERIOUSLY, WHAT IS THE VET?

The finale to Teen Wolf airs tomorrow evening at 10 p.m. E/T on MTV. Tune in to see what secrets are revealed and what questions are answered. Voids are sure to be filled but there will definitely be some new ones opened. And like always, we'll be waiting.

TV's Greatest Coaster: Teen Wolf

The trickiest part about creating a show is that you have to model it after a roller coaster. Think about it: the scariest coaster you've ever ridden; what made the thrill so exciting? It was the twists, the turns, the loops, the dives, and ultimately the adrenaline rush just could not be compared to. That's the correct recipe for a television production. It has to have enough shock factors to last a season respectfully and then hopefully end with a cliffhanger that leaves you wanting to board again. And now with that exquisitely written introduction, I move on to the reason this blog is being written: Teen Wolf. This has to be the most complicated show I've ever tuned into. It leaves so many blank spaces that, as a devoted watcher, I want more but I can't help but to find myself attempting to fill in as much as I can.

Here's some of my thoughts on the current storylines:
1. I'm assuming that the man and woman in the beginning of Episode 207 is Jackson's parents. And it was stated that Jackson's parents were killed in a car accident and that he was born a day after. But we clearly saw his father killed by the kanima and then his mother killed by a masked assailant- AFTER he was born. So who exactly is covering up the true story? UPDATE: The couple murdered in the beginning of Episode 207 were not Jackson's parents.
2. I'm worried that Scott's mother is somehow involved in the mother's murder spoken about in my 1st point. She did see his mother alive after the baby was born and she was warned that a monster was coming. And yet moments later, the mother is suffocated. I understand that nurses are busy running around the hospital all day but there just is no way that his mother is that ditzy that she couldn't see a hooded man enter a hospital room seconds after she walked out. Is she hiding something?
3. Gerard is EVIL. There is no way this man was able to stand in front of the kanima in Episode 206 and not be harmed. It was almost like the kanima was communicating with him. He has to be the master that's controlling it.
4. The teacher isn't the master. I know that all arrows are pointed to him (due to his car being the one that the kanima stopped next to at the end of Episode 205) but there's no way he is alone in this twisted storyline. The teacher clearly had company at the end of "Restraint" when he entered his car. Who was in the backseat?
5. The creepy photographer kid (Matt) is too curious. And we all know that curiosity killed the cat. I'm worried that he's next. (Sidenote: Allison heard him say kanima and he had her tablet. Why did she not address this or at least bring it to Scott's attention?)
6. Episode 207 still has not answered the question as to what Lydia is. Sure, it shed light on the fact that she's been hallucinating and seeing a young Peter. And we also discovered that she was Peter's Plan B. But what does that mean? Due to the wolfsbane flower being in her hand, is her mission to go after Derek (since he is the one who killed Peter)?
7. Now that Allison's mother has been bitten by Derek, can we assume that she will no longer side with the rest of the pack?

And I thought I'd be the one to ask a legitimate question that the fans are still waiting on an answer to:

1. What is the vet?

With that being asked, Jeff Davis and Co. are definitely teasers. But that's what makes this one hell of a ride to be on. Fellow Teen Wolf fans, strap on your safety restraints and let's enjoy the rest of this ride.

Fantasy Casting: Fifty Shades of Grey

The hype around this erotic romance novel has become so intoxicating that Hollywood is racing to create a film based off of the Fifty Shades trilogy by E L James. And trying to find the perfect cast for the Fifty Shades of Grey characters is a lot easier than studios are making of it. Here are two options for the secondary characters:

1. Katherine "Kate" Kavanagh: Aly Michalka or Amber Heard
Aly Michalka possesses a certain strength in each of her characters. She can play the tough, independent, and gorgeous woman that traps men with her wit and beauty. Amber Heard is also an excellent choice for Kate because she is the 3 B's: bad-ass, blond, and bombshell. (The last word was not meant to be an adjective, it's just meant to sum her up.)

2. Jose Rodriguez: Diego Boneta or Michael Trevino
Diego Boneta has this youthful innocence about him that is so refreshing to see in a male star in this era. And his accent? Deadly. But what attracts me to Michael Trevino is this pull he has when he's on the screen. It's hard to take my eyes off of him. I think either choice would make us all loathe Ana for not giving Jose the shot that he deserves. (Can you say "friendzoned"?)

3. Elliot Grey: Chris Evans or Kellan Lutz
Elliot is described in the book as "tall with wide shoulders, curly blond hair, and light, wickedly gleaming eyes". Despite his serious demeanor, Chris Evans has one of the best sense of humors in the business and we've all seen how fit he can mold his body to become. And as for Kellan Lutz, his playfulness is perfect for the character and his appearance is a no-brainer.

4. Taylor: Shane West or Timothy Olyphant
Taylor is Christian's right-hand man. Other need-to-knows is that he is in his "mid-thirties, all buzz cut and stubble" with hazel eyes. Both Shane West and Timothy Olyphant (who happens to resemble one another) could be the perfect fit for this role. Their respective roles on Nikita and Justified backs that up.

But most important of all: Who should play mercurial and intimidating Christian Grey and innocently beautiful Anastasia Steele? My top 3 choices are:

Christian Grey:
1. Ian Somerhalder
It's scary to think that Ian Somerhalder wasn't EL James' inspiration for Christian Grey. I mean, this man has every attribute and aspect of the character from the book. His portrayal of Damon Salvatore shows us that he can be cold and intimidating. Yet, true fans know that Mr. Smolder has a soft side to him. Could we ask for anything more? (And seriously, Ian's piercing gray eyes, devilish smile, and cocked head has Christian Grey written all over him!)

2. Colin Egglesfield
It's hard to believe that Colin Egglesfield is turning 40 next year. With that said, he's perfect. Everything about this man screams Christian Grey to me. This is what I picture when I read the first scene in the book. Imagine Colin helping the clumsy Ana off the floor and peering into her eyes. Yeah, you can see it too...

3. Matt Dallas
When he walks into a room, he owns it. Heads turn and necks break. That's the kind of attention that Christian Grey demands. And I think that Matt Dallas has that star quality that is needed for this role. And he's a fresh face that isn't being overused in the industry.

Honorable Mention: Taylor Kinney
Frankly, I think that Taylor Kinney can do anything. Period and the end.

Other notable actors being thrown in the casting pool: Ryan Gosling, Alexander Skarsgard, Chris Pine

Anastasia Steele:
1. Ayla Kell
I'm really hoping that this role goes to a no-name actress. And Ayla Kell is a talent that would be perfect for the role. She's not makeupy-photoshoppy beautiful and that's what Ana possesses: raw beauty. She doesn't consider herself beautiful because she doesn't look like the girls in the magazines. Ayla doesn't look overdone, she's a subtle beauty.

2. Emmy Rossum
The fact that Emmy Rossum isn't a household name is very upsetting. She has potential to be this generation's Winona Ryder (minus the crazy). She's wide-eyed, talented, and most importantly: FEARLESS. She goes for it in every role and I can easily see her giving her all to Ian Somerhalder Christian Grey.

3. Troian Bellisario
Pretty Little Liars fans are obsessed with Lucy Hale's lips, Shay Mitchell's hair, and Ashley Benson's eyes. But I'm obsessed with Troian Bellisario's everything because she's perfect in one way: she's understated. Understated beauty is rare in Hollywood. In my opinion, she's gorgeous. But her beauty doesn't catch you at first glance because you're so captivated by her talent. And she's the perfect example of what Anastaia Steele is: subtle.

Who do you think should be cast in the Fifty Shades of Grey feature film?
